PROACTIVE COMMUNITY SERVICES (PCS)PROACTIVE COMMUNITY SERVICES (PCS) is a human service organization that recognizes the many facets of health and social disparities among people of color throughout the United States, in Illinois' south suburbs, and beyond. The organization seek to empower and enhance people’s lives and strengthen communities by improving the quality of life through creating opportunities for individuals to develop potential and have access to comprehensive services that maximize their health and well-being.

The commitment to serve with a spirit of excellence is a core value. For me, it is extremely important we live up to this core value because doing so is the breath of life that makes a difference for all of those served. Here at Proactive Community Services, we are passionate about continually creating solutions and programs that address the myriad of issues and concerns of our clients while focusing on directly touching and improving lives and building stronger communities. We accomplish this as a team. Our staff, our board members, our volunteers all shares in the vision of caring and dedication to serving individuals and communities.

Since our inception, we have remained excited about embracing and demonstrating our constant commitment to individuals served. We are invested in the important work of our nonprofit and hold on tightly to the words of Marian Wright Edelman—Service Is The Rent We Pay For Living.

We appreciate and thank all of our clients, partners, stakeholder, and, especially all of our staff, volunteers, and board members. All of you have indeed had an important role in our ability to continue to grow as we will carry over our remarkable success from last year to this year.
